The Board of Education is holding a territory-wide Virgin Islands History Month Art Contest. All public school students grades K-12 may enter. Artwork must depict an event or person in Virgin Islands History. The Artwork must be at least 9X12 inches in dimension and must be accompanied by a written description which may be a narrative or a poem. Artwork will be judged in three categories K-4, 5-8, and 9-12. There will be first, second, and third place prizes in each category. The deadline to submit artwork has been extended to March 18, 2016. Winners will receive cash prizes ranging from $100 to $300. These generous cash prizes are sponsored by the Virgin Islands Lottery.
